Foxit’s Rapid Development Kit for Windows UWP

by Conor Smith | November 9, 2017

We’re excited to announce the release of MobilePDF SDK for UWP.

The release of our Rapid Development Kit for Windows UWP follows the release of MobilePDF SDK for iOS and Android last year and continues our plan to bring Foxit’s powerful PDF API to market with a proven UI to all major platforms.

Foxit’s Rapid Development Kits combine Foxit’s core PDF technology with the same UI/UX that is available in Foxit’s MobilePDF apps for iOS, Android and UWP which have been downloaded millions of times from the Apple Store, Play Store and Windows Store and are used by home and business users every day.

The first release of Foxit MobilePDF SDK for UWP is packed full of features such as PDF viewing, night mode, extensive annotation and markup support, typewriter, stamps, undo/redo, form filling, find function and much more.

Soon we’ll add even more features such as digital signatures and page editing, with big plans for the RDK in 2018.

“UWP was the obvious next step for our MobilePDF SDK, which now allows developers to deploy their apps across all major mobile operative systems. We are committed to bringing UWP to the standard we’ve set for the iOS and Android versions for a seamless user experience across all three major platforms.” – Karl De Abrew, President of Foxit SDK
